After spending 30 years in the software industry, Jay joined Optimizely to continue to accelerate the growth in the business by leveraging our industry-leading experimentation platform. Jay has a track record for scaling operations for world-class companies, such as Success Factors, Oracle, and Mercury Interactive.

Dan Siroker

Co-Founder & Executive Chairman

As co-founder and executive chairman of Optimizely, Dan Siroker is responsible for leading the organization’s product vision and defining the future of the leading Experimentation Platform. Dan founded Optimizely in 2009 when he realized that tools only existed to help technical people do A/B testing and website optimization. He wanted to make it easy for anyone to do A/B testing and empower them to experiment.

Before Optimizely, Dan helped lead the backend team that built Google Chrome and worked as the director of analytics for Obama for America, where he led a team of software engineers and analysts to maximize voter registration and helped raise more than half a billion dollars. During the presidential transition, Dan served as an advisor and deputy director to The White House, defining the role of new media and developing projects in the Obama Administration.

Pete Koomen

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer

As co-founder and CTO, Pete Koomen guides the technology vision behind Optimizely’s Experimentation Platform, ensuring businesses have access to the tools they need to test their assumptions and respond quickly to ever-changing market dynamics and customer expectations. Pete co-founded Optimizely with Dan Siroker in 2009 after spending three years as a product manager at Google, working on the Google App Engine and other projects.

David is Optimizely’s COO and CFO and joined Optimizely in 2016 from eBay, where he was the CFO for the $30 billion North America marketplace. David is deeply passionate about the power of data to help people make better choices and to help businesses create extraordinary experiences for their customers.

Erin Flynn

Chief People Officer

As Chief People Officer, Erin oversees Recruiting, People Ops, Real Estate and Workplace Operations at Optimizely. She has over 20 years of experience, including a decade leading Recruiting, Talent Development, and Employee Success at Salesforce. Erin received a BA in literature from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. When she’s not making Optimizely one of the best places to work, Erin also sits on the board of the Horizons Foundation.

Carl Tsukahara

Chief Marketing Officer

Carl Tsukahara is Chief Marketing Officer at Optimizely and is responsible for all global marketing and global sales development. A 25 year veteran of Silicon Valley, Carl Tsukahara has been CMO and Head of Products for multiple private and public companies. Most recently, he was CMO and Head of Products at Evolv, a pioneer in applying machine learning and predictive analytics for operational workforce decisions and at Birst, a provider of cloud enterprise analytics. He has also held operational roles in Engineering and Field Sales. Carl holds a degree in computer science and electrical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.

Eric Anderson

Chief Revenue Officer

Eric brings more than 25 years of experience building and leading global sales teams and developing successful go-to-market strategies for both private and public companies. As Chief Revenue Officer, Eric will be responsible for refining Optimizely’s global business development, sales, and partner alliance strategy in order to maximize revenue growth. He has decades of sales leadership experience, a strong track record of revenue growth accomplishment and proven success in transforming organizations as companies scale. Prior to joining Optimizely, Eric was the Chief Revenue Officer at Spredfast and Return Path. During his career, he also held senior roles at Nuance Communications, VirtuOz, and Rainmaker Systems.

Chief Product Officer

Claire is the Chief Product Officer of Product Management at Optimizely. Previously, she was the CEO and co-founder of Experiment Engine which was acquired by Optimizely in 2017. Claire is an expert in high-velocity experimentation programs, product strategy and user experience, and a passionate advocate for women in technology.

Jo Ann Sanders is VP of Product Marketing at Optimizely, and has over a decade of leadership experience in marketing and product management for top Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft and Adobe. Her expertise spans digital marketing, digital transformation, mobile, cloud, diversity and inclusion, and executive leadership.

Maurice Wells

Vice President, Global Professional Services

Maurice brings 20 years of experience in the software consulting, and professional services industry. Prior to Optimizely, Maurice was Vice President of Professional Services, at Coupa Software, a cloud-based business spend management platform. He has extensive experience building professional services organizations. Maurice began his career at Sapient Corporation, as a software and business strategy consultant. He later joined companies such as Plumtree Software (acquired by BEA Systems), BEA Systems (acquired by Oracle), Oracle Corporation, and Adobe Systems, helping to build successful professional services organizations. Maurice holds a Bachelor of Science, in Computer Science, from Yale University in New Haven, CT.

Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff, Hiliary is Optimizely’s core partner to identify key areas for business growth. She is a strategic advisor to our executive team and interprets data to ensure we’re making rapid decisions that benefit our business and customers. Previously, as a consultant with Accenture and leader in enterprise sales strategy at Salesforce, Hiliary has experience driving strategic cross-functional initiatives and aligning leadership with clear recommendations.
